Discovery said it signed a new long-term distribution deal with Sky that includes linear channels, video on demand, direct-to-consumer products and an extension of their advertising relationship.
Peter Faricy, who left Amazon to head up Discovery’s direct-to-consumer business, has resigned from the company, effective July 15.
Discovery is continuing its talks with distributors as it tries to determine its streaming strategy.
