Major League Baseball Productions and A&E Home Video teamed up with Amazon.com subsidiary CustomFlix Labs to offer DVDs of each game of the 2006 World Series between the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals.
“Our new DVD on Demand service gives fans a way to own the complete game and relive their favorite moments while the excitement of the Series still lingers in the air,” said Elizabeth Scott, vice president of programming and business affairs for MLB.
Games are available for pre-order through the CustomFlix DVD on-demand service and shipped within days of completion of each game.
