‘Whatever, Martha!' Gets Second Season on FLN

Rosie O'Donnell and Martha Stewart helped break the news Tuesday that Fine Living Network has ordered another 26 episodes of Whatever, Martha!

The two divas announced the pick-up live on the air during production of The Martha Stewart Show (which is shown on tape in some markets), and said O'Donnell would be in an upcoming episode of Whatever, Martha!

The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia-producer series on Scripps Networks-owned FLN stars Alexis Stewart and Jennifer Koppelman Hutt, who sit in a living room watching old episodes Martha Stewart Living and cracking wise. The freshman series generated much publicity for the 54-million-subscriber FLN, though last fall  Martha Stewart herself said the Mystery Science Theater-style spoof might one day end up on Bravo or Comedy Central.

"I created the show in the hopes that youthful fans of how-to would find Alexis and Jennifer's take on our classics relatable and entertaining," Martha Stewart said, referring to her daughter and her daughter's co-host. "Our rich library will provide them with a plethora of fabulous episodes that delight and inspire a new generation of fans."

FLN general manager Chad Youngblood said: "This series has outperformed our expectations and has developed a passionate following. We are very excited to bring FLN viewers another season of Whatever, Martha!"
