Ted Holtzclaw, operations manager for WABC New York, passed away suddenly Monday morning, the station confirmed on its website.
He was 53.
As operations manager, Holtzclaw was in charge of all technical aspects for the station. He had been with the station for almost 20 years.
He is survived by his wife and 2-year-old son.
