TLC Explores Sex, Love In Valentine's Day Special

TLC aspires to teach viewers what they need to know about finding true love and sustaining healthy relationships with its Valentine's Day special.
Premiering on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), the one-hour special, Sextistics: Your Love Life, reveals answers and some staggering stats about love, sex and romance that you always wanted to know, but were afraid to ask like: Whether height, money or even body hair really matter? Is there a smoother path down the rocky road of love?
Sextistics: Your Love Life looks at cutting-edge science and statistical data, including how many sexual partners and orgasms the average American has in their lifetime, what physical signs you get from someone who is attracted to you, and what the latest divorce rates are for couples who marry in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. With large scale visual stunts, interviews with renowned relationship and sex experts, and candid real life experiences from people on the street, TLC's special presents viewers with a unique, modern and relatable guide to love and romance.
From Touch Productions, Sextistics examines each stage of a relationship, from why people are attractive; navigating the ritual of dating and flirting; plunging into the first phases of love; and then finally guiding viewers through commitment, marriage, sex and infidelity. The program concludes finishes reassuring science and statistics about the realities of long-term true love, while providing a new and refreshing take on our most fundamental emotion.
