Showtime Speeds Up American Candidate Promotion

Showtime is taking to the speedway to promote upcoming reality series American Candidate.
The premium network has entered into an agreement with Richie Hearns Motorsports to sponsor his racing team in the Star Mazda Series.
The companies will drop the flag on their relationship July 30 when logos for the network and the presidential-candidate series appear on the Hearns racing-team car. American Candidate bows Aug.1.
As part of the agreement, 700 Mazda Motor Corp. dealerships around the country will house point-of-sale displays featuring the Hearns vehicle and the “Showtime Finish Line Sweepstakes,” in which one winner will drive home a Mazda “RX-8.”
Additionally, the winner will be flown to Hollywood to witness the filming of American Candidate’s “Great Debate.”
