Pinnacle Sports Network said it plans to launch a new cable network this fall centered around University of Nebraska sports events, AP reported.
Administrative changes in Nebraska's athletic department led to the cancellation of the network's previous contract with the school, network representative Paul Aaron told AP.
Although its new contract is more expensive, the network will now be able to produce and market coaches' TV programs and publish programs to be sold at games, Aaron added.
