Parents Choose Nick … 18 Times

Fare from Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin and The N received 18 “Parents' Choice Awards,” the network said Tuesday.

The Parents' Choice Awards recognize the best products and programs for children of all ages, backgrounds, skills and interests, and they are presented to those that meet and exceed standards set by educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents and kids themselves, according to the Parents’ Choice Foundation.

“We're thrilled to be recognized by such a reputable organization for our programming,” Nickelodeon Television president Cyma Zarghami said in a prepared statement. “At Nickelodeon, we are passionate about providing quality programming for kids of all ages, and it's great to be awarded by an organization that shares our belief in putting kids first.”
