Ovation said Comcast has launched its network in standard- and high-definition formats on systems in the Baltimore, Md., Richmond, Va., and Washington, D.C. areas on Xfinity Digital Preferred.
"These metro areas are culturally rich with thriving arts scenes, and are perfect for Ovation," Ellen Schned, senior vice president of distribution for Ovation, said in a release. "By expanding our network to these areas, Comcast customers can enjoy inspiring programming and community partnerships that connect them with cultural institutions and arts education programs."
The channel slots are 155 and channel 946 (HD). Ovation claims a total national audience of 44 million households.
