National Geographic Channel is spicing up its programming lineup with a one-hour special focused on the history of the bra.
The network said Monday that it will premiere Secret History of the Bra on Friday, Sept. 28, at 10 p.m..
“From boiling cauldrons to silk looms to metal factories, National Geographic Channel traces the evolution of one of woman’s most provocative pieces of clothing,” the network said in the announcement.
Consumers spend about $16 billion annually a year on bras, National Geographic said.
