INSP Acquires Classic Series ‘Daniel Boone’
INSP has acquired the iconic western series Daniel Boone, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
On Sept. 28 the network will run a six-hour marathon of the series, which starred Fess Parker, before it settles into its regular 10 a.m Monday-Thursday timeslot, said network officials.
“Most of us fondly remember the theme song from this great American classic … Daniel Boone is not only entertaining, but it embodies the timeless values and positive entertainment audiences have come to expect from INSP,” said Doug Butts, senior vice president of Programming at INSP in a statement. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Daniel Boone to our lineup during the 50thanniversary of the series, and we believe it will be a great opportunity for a whole new generation of viewers to enjoy this family drama.”
