Grande Launches TV-everywhere App

Grande Communications, the Texas-based triple-play provider, has joined the ranks of pay-TV providers with a TV-everywhere service, in this case one called Grande2Go. The service, which enables remote, authenticated viewing of programming available via Grande, is available for the PC at grande2go.com or as a downloadable app on the Google Play or iTunes Store. It blends the TiVo guide with a library of content that, overall, includes access to programming from more than 50 networks, Grande said. Content is available live or on demand from networks including ABC, A&E, CNN, Disney, ESPN, NBC, Fox and USA Network, Grande said in a release. Other features include being able to use the app as a remote or as a way to view recorded shows.

“As consumer viewing evolves beyond traditional TV, Grande will continue to innovate to offer the flexibility our customers want and need,” Matt Rohre, senior vice president of operations and general manager for Grande, said in the release. “Grande2Go empowers our customers to watch their favorite programming whenever and wherever they want – on any screen.”
