FX Cancels ‘The Bridge’

FX is cancelling its drama series The Bridge after two seasons, the network said Tuesday.

The series, based on the Danish series of the same name, drew close to 1.2 million viewers during its sophomore season run after premiering to 3 million viewers in its freshman season.

The network in a release said it “will not move forward” with a third season.

The series starred Demian Birchir and Diane Kruger as two detectives working together to solve crimes on both sides of the U.S-Mexican border.
