Fox Gives Chu New Marketing Reality

Fox Reality Channel has promoted Charissa Chu to vice president of marketing for Fox Reality Channel.

In her new position, Chu is in charge of driving integrated marketing and promotional strategies including print, publicity and third-party partnerships to trumpet the channel and its original programming. She also will continue to supervise all public relations agency efforts.

Chu most recently served as the network's director of marketing, where she was responsible for managing both internal and external teams in executing marketing and publicity efforts to support its launch of new shows and overall brand awareness.

“Charissa has done a stellar job at Fox Reality Channel and displays great enthusiasm and strategic focus for each new series launch. We are proud of the work she has done at Fox Reality Channel and look forward to continued success as our brand evolves,” said senior vice president of marketing and on-air promotion Lorey Zlotnick, to whom she’ll report, in a statement.

Prior to joining Fox Reality, Chu was manager of advertising and promotion services at NBC Universal. Earlier in her career she was a promotion producer for KRON-TV, NBC’s San Francisco affiliate.
