Food Launches Home Merchandising with Kohl’s

Food Network and Kohl’s are teaming up to develop a Food-branded line of home goods.

Products will include cookware, dinnerware, kitchen gadgets, cutlery, pantryware and table linens.

The long-term licensing agreement allows the products to be sold exclusively at Kohl’s stores and on Kohl’ ( beginning in the fall of 2007. Marketing opportunities will also be integrated with Food programming and celebrity chefs will appear for in-store promotions.

Available in 90 million homes nationwide, Food is owned by Scripps Networks, which also owns Home & Garden Television, DIY, Great American Country and Fine Living.

The deal marks the first national home-merchandise launch for Scripps Networks.
