CNBC will turn to the business of pornography during a special premiering next month.
In its latest original production, CNBC will examine the multi-billion dollar industry that has changed technology and is accessible in homes, hotel rooms and hard drives everywhere.
However, in Porn: Business of Pleasure, CNBC will show that the industry is under assault, not just from critics who view as socially corroding and degrading, but from a profit perspective.
Debuting July 15 at 9 p.m. (ET), Porn: Business of Pleasure will include interviews with adult stars, including one issue that could bring the industry to its knees, according to CNBC officials.
