Boomerang Sets Flintstones Marathon

Boomerang will be slinging Flint-stones this holiday week by airing all 166 episodes of the historic television series, commercial-free.

Beginning at 6 a.m. July 4, the network will air the show’s original pilot episode, “The Flagstones,” to kick off the three-and-a-half-day “The Flagstones to The Flintstones” marathon.

Boomerang, owned by Turner Broadcasting System, will also offer several classic Flintstones episodes on its video-on-demand menu.

The Flintstones premiered on ABC Sept. 30, 1960, and continued to “yabba-dabba-do” across the airwaves until 1966.

Boomerang, which runs 24 hours per day, is in partnership with the Cartoon Network, and it airs 75% unduplicated programming.
