BET’s debut of two original series from prolific producer/creator Tyler Perry heads up the list of new programming hitting TV screens this week.

Perry’s Oct. 23 premiere of dramas The Oval and Sistas are part of the African-American-targeted network’s multi-year production deal with the director.
