Reny Diaz Named to NBCU Post

Reny Diaz has been appointed as vice president of Insights & Strategy at NBCUniversal’s Hispanic Enterprises and Content, reporting to Jacqueline Hernandez, chief marketing officer. In this newly created role, Diaz, based in New York, will be responsible for the development of data analysis, framing actionable insights and creating long term strategies for growing Hispanic audiences across the NBCUniversal portfolio of brands and business divisions including Entertainment, News, Sports, Digital, Theme Parks and Universal Pictures, NBCU said in a release. Diaz will work collaboratively within the portfolio in the planning, creation and communication of research-based strategies and innovations and will serve as an integral member of the Hispanic Enterprises and Content leadership team responsible for driving audiences and revenue to NBCU multiplatforms.

Previously, Diaz was research director at Fusion and Univisión Noticias, where he led the research and insights team. In 2008, he was appointed as director of Client Engagement at Nielsen, supporting the advancement of Nielsen's Latino thought leadership strategy and the company's internal Latino measurement initiatives. He also served as product lead for Nielsen TV Ratings, the first media research product on the company's MediaView platform.
