What’s Premiering This Week (April 22-28)

A&E steps back into the live documentary arena with the April 22 debut of Live Rescue, one of several new and returning series making their debuts this week.

Live Rescue, a spinoff of A&E’s successful series Live PD from Big Fish Entertainment, will follow first responders from across the country as they put their lives on the line responding to emergency rescue calls, according to network executives.

Also this week AMC’s The Son, a family saga based on Philipp Meyer’s best-seller of the same name starring Pierce Brosnan, returns for its second and final season on April 27, said the network.
