Comcast Corp. has added WHYY-TV programming to its On Demand lineup in the Philadelphia area, the MSO said Monday.
WHYY became the first public television station to join Comcast’s On Demand lineup.
The MSO’s 1.9 million area subscribers can access WHYY shows such as A Walk Up Broad Street, Pennsylvania Railroad and Secrets Beneath the Streets 24 hours a day, with complete VCR functionality.
Comcast On Demand is available free-of-charge to all of the MSO’s digital-cable customers.
