WCSN Scores YouTube, AOL Carriage Deals
World Championship Sports Network will offer its library of Olympics-based sports tournaments and events through online services YouTube and AOL.
Both Time Warner-owned AOL Video and Google-owned YouTube will feature short-form WCSN programming from more than 60 World Championships, 300 World Cup and 50 Grand Prix events taking place in 2007 alone, according to WCSN.
The offerings include highlights from such sports as skiing, swimming, track and field, volleyball, badminton and wrestling.
It’s unclear how many hours of programming WCSN will make available to YouTube and AOL Video.
