HDNet will have some high-definition company at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
Voom’s HDNews 24-hour HD news channel will provide live coverage of both gatherings, the Rainbow DBS service said Friday.
“Our reporters on the convention floor will bring breaking news to viewers, while our 24-hour Convention Channel will ensure that viewers can watch coverage in its entirety throughout the day or night in high-definition,” HDNews general manager Will Wright said in a prepared statement.
The Democratic National Convention is being held July 26-29 at Boston’s FleetCenter, and the Republican National Convention will take place Aug. 30-Sept. 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
