Vonage Thinks Local

Vonage announced a new service Monday, V-Access, which lets anyone dial a local phone number and then place a call to a Vonage phone number without paying long-distance or international charges.

The service is currently available in the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Vonage lists V-Access local phone numbers on its Web site.
