Viacom brands and CBS will air a new preview of Columbia Pictures film Spider-Man 3 Thursday.
The film -- directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire -- doesn’t open until May 4.
Networks airing the two-and-a-half-minute trailer include BET, CBS, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Spike TV and VH1. Each network is also supporting the trailer with custom promotions on-air and online.
Immediately following the television premiere, an HD version of the trailer will be available on MTV Networks’ IFILM (www.ifilm.com).
Spider-Man 3 reunites the cast and filmmakers from the first two blockbuster adventures, which have grossed more than $1.6 billion worldwide.
