By MCN Staff
published ego trip's The (White) Rapper Show will debut on VH1 Jan. 8 at 10:30 p.m.
White rap legend Michael "MC Serch" Berrin and producing legend Prince Paul of rap group 3rd Bass will host the series, which “will put 10 contestants from all over America through challenges that will test their musical ‘cred,’ knowledge of hip-hop culture and their ideas about race,” the network said in a release. Hip hop pioneers including Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow and Fat Joe will also make appearances.
The survivor of Tha White House -- “the run-down South Bronx tenement that they'll be bunking in” -- will win $100,000.
