The VH1 Big in '06 Awards will debut on the network Sunday, Dec. 3 at 8 p.m.
The event will be hosted by actor and comedian D.L. Hughley, with performers, presenters and special guests to be announced as they are confirmed.
Viewers will be able to vote for the people who “captured the year in music, news, politics, arts and gossip” online (big.vh1.com) from 4 p.m. (EST) Wednesday-Dec. 1. They can also vote on the Big Reality Star of 2006, sponsored by Burger King.
Fans can also cast their votes using their mobile phones by texting keyword BIG to the number 22422.
Warner Bros. Pictures, L'Oreal Paris, Burger King, Alltel Wireless and Cotton Inc. are the sponsors of the VH1 Big in '06 Awards.
