Verizon Customers Dial Up Food Recipes

Airborne Entertainment is currently producing “Food Network Cook Express” -- recipes designed specifically for mobile devices -- for Verizon Wireless.
The service -- which costs Verizon Wireless customers $2.49 per month -- enables users to key in ingredients or search by category, then scroll through an extensive list of Food’s recipes. Each entry contains a full recipe, a list of ingredients, directions, cooking time and preparation time.
Food Network Cook Express can also send the full entry to customers’ electronic-mail inboxes, and favorite recipes can be bookmarked and accessed later.
The Food announcement comes on the heels of last Thursday’s word that Verizon Wireless customers with text-messaging-capable cellular phones now have access to content from Cable News Network.
