Univision Draws Record Audience for Liga MX Final

Univision Deportes' coverage of Sunday’s Liga MX final between Club America and Cruz Azul averaged 4.5 million total viewers, making it the league's most-watched match on any network ever.

It also was the third-highest rated Liga MX match on any network among adults 18-49 with 2.6 million. The contest also drew 1.3 million adults 18-34.

Locally, the match was also the most-watched Liga MX contest among adults 18-49 on Univision since 2011 in four out of the top 5 Hispanic markets – Los Angeles, New York, Houston and Dallas.

The 2013 Clausura season was the highest rated season on Univision Deportes platforms since 2007.
