Univision Deportes Launches Hispanic-Targeted NBA Site
Univision Deportes has partnered with the NBA to launch a league-based online hub for Hispanic basketball fans.
The Spanish-language sports network will power the NBA.com/enebea website, which features live game updates of each NBA game, post-game highlights, and stats for each player and team in the league, said network officials. The site also includes exclusive content relevant to Hispanic basketball fans, such as news coverage and interviews with the players and coaches Hispanics care about most and video footage of the best plays of each game.
“The NBA and Univision’s historic partnership has helped to expand the game’s popularity,” said NBA Senior Vice President, Digital Media Melissa Brenner in a statement. “With the new éne•bé•a website, we will build on that success to provide our Spanish-speaking fans with even more captivating digital content and breaking news stories. We’re very excited for the launch.”
Juan Carlos Rodriguez, president of Univision Deportes added: “Univision Deportes is the home of sports for Hispanic America. This partnership with the NBA is a testament to the power of our brand to reach this critical Hispanic fanatico. We know our viewers are passionate sports fans and we are thrilled to give them the basketball content they crave.”
