TVG Network will celebrate its five-year anniversary with a one-hour retrospective, TVG@5, Wednesday at 9 p.m.
TVG@5 will look back at the top 10 accomplishments in horse racing over the past five years and the top 10 races aired by the network during that time span.
The special also looks back at some of the humorous moments and some of the celebrities who have appeared on its air, including comedian and thoroughbred owner Jack Klugman, who was interviewed July 14, 1999, TVG's first day on the air.
In addition to the historic elements, network officials said, the special will highlight the network’s programming like The Works, The Sales, The Quarters and several documentaries.
TVG is available in some 12.5 million cable and satellite homes.
