TV One To Premiere 'R&B Divas: L.A.' Via On Demand

TV One will debut the first episode of its new series R&B Divas LA via on demand three days before its July 10 premiere on the network.

The series, as spinoff of the network’s R&B DivasAtlanta series, will debut on VOD July 7, the first time the network has debuted an original series before its linear network premiere, said network officials.  The Los Angeles series centers on West Coast music stars Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Dawn Robinson, Lil’ Mo, Claudette Ortiz and Michel’le.

“The R&B Divas franchise has sustained heated buzz and anticipation among our viewers and we are delighted to offer them the LA series premiere early, via the VOD service,” said Maureen Guthman, senior vice president of program strategy and acquisitions for the network.

TV One will promote the network’s premiere during a series of R&B Divas-based specials including the June 12 R&B Divas Atlanta Season 2 finale, as well as a two-part R&B Divas Atlanta Season 2 reunion.
