Turner Named Licensing VP For Bravo, Oxygen Media

NBC Universal appointed Jennifer Turner as the new vice president of licensing and strategic partnerships for Bravo Media and Oxygen Media, network officials said Wednesday.

Turner, who previously served as vice president of drama programming at Universal Media Studios, will be responsible for creating revenue-generating opportunities with key merchandising and licensing partners. In this new role, she will work closely with both networks' programming, production, marketing and digital departments to identify partnership and branding opportunities.

“Jen brings a wealth of knowledge from both the business and programming sides of our industry,” Lauren Zalaznick, president, NBC Universal Women and Lifestyle Entertainment Networks, said in a statement. “Her proven track record of strategic thinking and managing creative partnerships will further extend the Bravo and Oxygen brands throughout the marketplace.”

At Universal Media Studios, Turner was charged with developing new drama series and leading the creative production of programs such as Crossing Jordan, The Black Donnellys and Friday Night Lights.
