Travel Channel has started the hunt for the next Travel Channel Star, a three-round competition series for the top adventure-seeker of 2015, the network announced today.
After the winner is announced in a one-hour on-air special, they will then showcase an original five-part series on their hosting skills and point-of-view. The first round selection process will go from Nov. 3 to April 15, where participants can submit their video, according to SVP, Programming and Development of Travel Channel, Ross Babbit.
Contestants will only be allowed to submit one video in the following ways:
-Joining the first live casting call at the That’s Voiceover!™ Career Expo at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York on Nov. 10th from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
-Joining a casting call at the Tastemade Studios in Santa Monica, Calif. in early 2015 (dates and times will be announced soon).
-Or, submitting a two-minutevideo online at TravelChannelStar.com
Bert Kreischer will host the special, along with three judges, Travel Channel's Jodi Bettencourt, Anna Garwood and Rob Pralgo.
