Time Warner Cable, Dish Offer Pac-12 Networks Freeview in March

With conference championship action on the docket, Pac-12 Networks will be available to a wider swath of Time Warner Cable and Dish Network subscribers next month.

From March 1-15, the nation's No. 2 cable operator and the second-largest DBS provider will be offering their customers a free preview of Pac-12 Networks, giving more fans nationwide the opportunity to experience all the championship action and entertaining fare that the programmers has to offer.

Six Pac-12 championships will air throughout the entire month, beginning Sunday, March 2 with the Pac-12 wrestling airing live from Stanford University at 5:00 p.m. (PT). The following day, the 2014 Pac-12 women’s swimming and diving championships, will make its network debut at 9 p.m. (tape delayed from Feb. 26-March 1), featuring the top-ranked California Golden Bears and freshman phenom and Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin. Later that week, the Pac-12 women’s basketball tournament makes its return to Seattle March 6-8 and Pac-12 Networks will air every first round, quarterfinal and semifinal matchup (10 games) live, leading into the television debut of the Pac-12 men’s swimming and diving championship airing Monday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

From Wednesday, March 12 through Saturday, March 15, Pac-12 men’s basketball takes over the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Pac-12 Networks airing eight of the 11 matchups live, including the entire first round March 12, three quarterfinal battles March 13 and the first semifinal game on March 14.

Rounding out the month of championship programming is the Pac-12 women’s gymnastics championships, airing sessions I and II live from Haas Pavilion Saturday, March 22, beginning at 1 p.m.
