Tim Duffy has been promoted to senior vice president of original programming, at Spike TV.
Spike TV said its West Coast development team has been successful with new series such as Deadliest Warrior, 1000 Ways To Die and Auction Hunters, with Duffy on the frontlines in the creation, development and execution of the network's biggest original series hits.
Currently, he's working on a new slate of originals aimed at broadening and expanding Spike's audience. Last March he was named to the Multichannel News"40 Under 40" list.
"Duffy's creative vision for Spike's originals has truly resonated with our audience and he has been a driving force in delivering hit shows," Levy said in a release. "As the network's target audience expands, Duffy's acumen for creating shows that appeal to a wider audience will be instrumental to our success."
Earlier, Duffy was director of development at Game Show Network, and prior to GSN, he was production manager at Dick Clark Productions.
