To promote the Jan. 17 premiere of its new comedy series Angie Tribeca, TBS will devote 25 straight commercial-free hours to programming featuring the show’s stars, the network said during its Television Critics Association press tour event Thursday.
The marathon, hosted by Angie Tribeca star Deon Cole, will serve as a launch party for the series. Sponsored by the Dunkin' Donuts, Redd's Apple Ale and Intuit TurboTax, the marathon will feature appearances from Rashida Jones (The Office), Hayes MacArthur (Life As We Know It), Jere Burns (Justified), Andrée Vermeulen (Upright Citizen’s Brigade) and Jagger (Max), as well as Angie Tribeca executive producers/creators Nancy and Steve Carell.
Also scheduled to appear during the marathon are Conan O’Brien (Conan) and Samantha Bee (Full Frontal With Samantha Bee), the network said.
