Tandberg Television completed its purchase of GoldPocket Interactive Inc. Tuesday, paying a final price of $79.8 million after adjusting the price upward by $1.3 million based on Tandberg’s recent stock performance.
Tandberg said it paid GoldPocket’s former owners 430,000 shares of stock and $74.6 million in cash.
The acquisition, announced last month, gives Tandberg an interactive-TV-software connection to television providers such as Time Warner Cable and DirecTV Inc.
