Syfy Sets Month Long Halloween-Themed Schedule

Syfy will air 600 hours of horror and thriller-themed programming as part of its 31 Days Of Halloween October programming stunt.

The network’s 7th annual spook-a-thon, which runs from Oct. 1-31, will feature such horror films as the remake of the as well aTexas Chainsaw Massacre s Shutter, said network officials.

On the original side, Syfy will premiere docuseries Town Of The Living Dead as well as the 200th episode of reality series Ghost Hunters. In addition, Syfy will premiere three original movies – Dark Haul, Dead Still and Finders Keepers -- during the month.
