The following is a list of upcoming original cable programming from today (June 18) through Labor Day (Sept. 3). "Original programming" means brand-new premieres, no
acquired shows or fare available via broadcast TV, home video or in movie theaters. The one exception: Acquired programs are included when the network has the exclusive
domestic rights to a non-U.S. production. Specials and franchises spun off of existing series are included, but new episodes of established series are not. The list includes mostly
basic-cable (non-sports) national networks with large distribution, though some premium networks have been included. It was compiled by Leslie Jaye Goff .
