Starz and Encore will air nine-minute sneak peeks at Walt Disney Pictures’ and Walden Media’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Under terms of the agreement between Starz Entertainment Group LLC, Disney Pictures and Walden, the two networks will begin airing a 30-minute original behind-the-scenes look at the film, along with the nine-minute excerpt, Thursday, Nov. 24.
The Chronicles of Narnia will be released in theaters nationwide Dec. 9.
“Kids and adults alike will delight in this opportunity to get a first look at the much-anticipated motion picture, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” Starz Entertainment senior vice president of program acquisitions Stephan Shelanski said in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to be the exclusive broadcast outlet to bring our audience this unique movie content they won’t see anywhere else.”
