Starz Appoints New SVP's in Program Planning

Scott Barton, Amy Kline and Eric Neal have been appointed to Senior Vice President's in the program planning department of the Starz Denver location, EVP Dave Baldwin announced today.

As SVP of Branded Digital Content and Products, Barton will lead programming, as well as product vision for on-demand, online, digital and consumer-facing video products and platforms. He will also develop strategies to aide the Starz catalog through new and emerging platforms. 

Kline has been promoted to SVP Programming Operations, Quality Control, where she will be in charge of all content trafficking for 17 Starz, Encore, Movieplex premium pay TV channels, as well as associated services. Kline will also work with film and television studios and premium television original productions, among other job-related responsibilites. 

As the new SVP of Program Planning, Neal will be responsible for overseeing Program Scheduling, Promotion Planning and Scheduling teams. He will also carry out his current duties for management, positioning as well as evaluation for 17 Starz, Encore and Movieplex premium pay TV channels.
