The Champ Car World Series has a new cable home: Spike TV.
The network said Wednesday that it will carry all 16 of the "2004 Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford" races, kicking off with the season-opening Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Sunday, April 18, from Long Beach, Calif.
The races will all air from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. (EST/PST) Sunday afternoons, Spike TV said.
Spike TV will also air 24 episodes of a Champ Car lifestyle-themed series Sunday afternoons.
