Spike TV Goes On the Road with Sugar Ray

Spike TV is going on a reality-TV rock tour.

The network will debut On the Road - A True Rock-N-Roll Road Story Friday at midnight (EST/PST).

The weekly reality series follows eight contestants on Sugar Ray's “Make Every Mile Count Tour” as they compete for a one-year paid job at Lava Records and a new 2004 Kia Motors America Inc. “Spectra” by performing assignments related to the music business.

The contestants live on a tour bus, traveling cross-country in one group. At each stop, they are broken up into groups and are assigned jobs. Each team is provided with a Spectra in each city to navigate their way around for the materials and items needed for their assignments.
