Spike Steps Into ‘Ring of Death’

Emmy nominee and Golden Globe-winning actor Stacy Keach and The OC’s Johnny Messner will star in Ring of Death, a new Spike TV original movie debuting Friday, Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. ET.

Keach (left) and Messner will be joined by co-star Charlotte Ross (NYPD Blue, Days of Our Lives) in what the network is billing as “a gripping, explosive film revolving around an ex-cop who goes undercover as a prisoner to investigate the reason behind a string of mysterious and violent prisoner deaths.”

The movie will premiere in high definition as part of the network’s “Spike Guy Movies” umbrella and will air throughout 2008. Spike TV says its “Spike Guy Movies” average roughly 1.5 million viewers each month.

RHI Entertainment presents an Alpine Medien Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions and produced in association with Grand Army Entertainment, LLC. Ring of Death is directed by Bradford May, written by David Rosiak and Matthew Chernov and produced by Randy Pope. Robert Halmi, Jr. and Larry Levinson serve as executive producers.
