Spike will chronicle the life and career of mixed martial arts fighter Kimbo Slice in a new documentary to air Friday (June 24)
The one-hour special, Kimbo Slice: One Of A Kind, will look at Slice’s rise to prominence as a Miami street fighter and YouTube sensation to a globally-renowned MMA fighter.
Slice, who died unexpectedly June 6, was one of the most popular fighters for MMA company Bellator. His Feb. 19 fight on the Bellator 149 drew 2.2 million viewers for Spike, a network record for a Spike-televised Bellator event.
Actor Kevin Connoly will narrate Kimbo: One Of A Kind, which will be executively produced by Kevin Kay, Scott Coker, Scott Fishman and Jason Teiken.
