Maria Badillo joined Sorpresa! as vice president of programming.
Badillo had been with Discovery Kids Latin America.
At the Spanish-language kids’ network -- owned by Juniper Content’s Firestone Communications subsidiary -- she will be responsible for co-production and acquisitions.
Badillo was the second VP to be hired by Sorpresa! this week, following new VP of advertising sales Yolanda Jordana.
