SNY Fires Up ‘Mets Hot Stove’

SNY Monday announced it will debut Mets Hot Stove, a weekly show covering all the news, notes and rumors surrounding the New York Mets throughout the off-season, on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. ET.

The show will be hosted by Mets field reporter Kevin Burkhardt and will feature live commentary from a number of panelists, including SNY’s MLB Insider and Sports Illustrated senior writer Jon Heyman. Mets general manager Omar Minaya is expected to be live in studio the following week.

Mets Hot Stove will focus primarily on the Mets, but it will also cover the top news stories affecting the Mets National League rivals, as well as all other MLB teams.  Each week, Kevin Burkhardt will be joined by a revolving panel of experts, players and management personnel.

Mets Hot Stove will air every Thursday during the off-season from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET.
