Video software specialist SeaChange International said it has extended its line of content management systems with AdFlow Core, an ad insertion system tailored to suit the needs of tier-2 service providers.
Based on the AdFlow system in use by tier 1 providers, the new AdFlow Core product simplifies ingest and preparation of ads that can be inserted into linear, on-demand and over-the-top video streams, SeaChange said.
The system is comprised of essential Ad CMS capabilities required for smaller providers, including schedule file processing, reverse conciliation and transcoding, the vendor added.
Based on the AdFlow system in use by top-tier television service providers, AdFlow Core includes essential Ad CMS capabilities in a footprint that’s tailored for smaller providers that are building their insertable channel count and expanding to multi-platform services, SeaChange said. Those essentials include schedule file processing, reverse reconciliation and transcoding.
"AdFlow Core introduces a layer of operation-wide visibility and extensibility that allows smaller service providers to orchestrate more efficient and capable content workflows as they grow their advertising business on more channels and subscriber devices," Venkat Krishnan, VP of products at SeaChange, said in a statement.
