Schuller's New Show in Production at AmericanLife

Televangelist Robert A. Schuller's new show for AmericanLife
TV starts production this week in Dallas, headed for a Nov. 29 debut on the network heand Chris Wyatt bought in February.

The Rev. Schuller, former co-host of religious program The Hour
of Power
, will star in Everyday Life. The network said the show is based on a
fictional small town, and the challenges the residents face. Schuller also will narrate the stories.

He and Wyatt, founder of Godtube.com, had said at the time of the network purchase that Schuller would return to television via AmericanLife TV Network, which claims about 78 million subscribers. Schuller left Hour of Power in 2008 after a reported falling out with his father, Crystal Cathedral Ministries founder Robert H. Schuller.

At the time of the network acquisition this spring, Schuller said the new show would not be "preachy."

"Viewers are looking for messages of hope and inspiration
now more than ever and I hope to use my new series to reach people in an
inspirational way," Schuller said in a release today.

The show is being executive produced by Aaron Norris, whose
credits in television include Walker
Texas Ranger
, The President's Man and
Logan's War. Cory Tynan (Earth: Final Conflict) also serves as executive producer and writer
on the series. Alin Bijan and Dee Evans serve as producers, with Bijan
directing.

The series premiere cast will feature former WCW World &
US Champion star Steve Borden a.k.a "Sting," Terry Kiser (Walker Texas Ranger), actor and musician Brad Hawkins and Lydia
Mackay.
